Oh. My. Goodness.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am slightly in love with my Blackberry. :-)
I have tried hard not to be, but it is no use. It is just so.....loveable.
To make matters worse, my husband loves his Blackberry even more.

So when I saw this giveaway over at BooMama, I got a little giddy. I have been drooling over this new Blackberry ever since my brother-in-law pointed it out to me.

Well, that's a blow to the ego!

I know there are more readers lurking about my blog.....I have seen you on my live feed. :-)

So I guess I was expecting a slightly larger response to my giveaway than four people.......

Not that I feel stupid or ANYTHING......oh no, I am quite confident that people like my blog and are getting on here. Totally confident. Yep....I am sure folks were just busy this weekend, right? I mean, I was busy. Blog readers were too. Right???!!!!
(Sigh.)

Well, the winner without a doubt was Paula (hard decision....lol). She follows my blog (Jana, that is the little box in my sidebar that you can click on and follow the steps to "follow" me) and she left me a comment, telling why she likes reading my blog. It must be because she is so organized. ;-) So, she wins the little prize package. Congrats, Paula!

Honorable mention goes to Chas and Jana. You are both fabulous friends, but I have to be fair. Playing favorites will not sit well with my readers. Oh wait---you 3 ARE my readers.....anyways.....

Due to the poor outcome of this giveaway, I am thinking one will not be attempted again for a long time here at ToddlerWorld. Unless my marketing specialist can get on the ball and promote it better. She was on vacation this time around......it's so hard to get good help!

I will leave you with these tips for the weekend:

1) Freeze your leftover coffee in ice-cube trays. They are wonderful to use when making iced coffee!!! No more watered-down coffee drinks!

2) Check out your area for free movies and concerts. Summertime is a great time to enjoy outdoor events, and in most cities there are lots of free or cheap ones to take your family to.
We are hoping to take advantage of this event......and there are many more to choose from! (Look at your local visitor center for fliers.)

300 and goin' strong....

Yesterday was my 300th post on ToddlerWorld!!! So exciting.....who knew I had so much to talk about? lol

I did not feel like typing out a recipe this week, so I am going to make you work instead.

Because it is so beautiful here in Colorado and there are no bugs--woo hoo!--we have started grilling quite a bit. But we really have no clue how or WHAT to make.

So........if you have any great grilling recipes, please DO SHARE! I would love to make some great stuff on the grill, and break out of my basic marinade routine. My only requirement is that the recipe be easy. We don't do well with fancy food here at Toddler World. :-)

(And for those of you who don't personally know me....that is not really me grilling. I leave that up to Hubby.)
